1. INTRODUCTION In every human activity, disputes are bound to occur. The nature and dimension however could differ. Modern societies all over the world are governed by Laws and Regulations that determine the rights and duties of individuals and corporate bodies within the society. Enforcement of these regulations often lead to disputes and which essentially has to be resolved using the provisions of Law. Over the years, disputes were settled in accordance with the tradition and customs of the various societies.
